Originally from the United Kingdom we began our love affair with MODERNISM back in the early 80's when we bought a piece of Hagenauer, Austrian sculpture, and somehow segued into buying a Wurlitzer 1015 juke box on a trip to Vancouver! The first shop was launched selling Americana and memorabilia in London's fashionable West End, Soho! The Brits had a fascination with all things Americana from the 50's.
We flip flopped across the Atlantic Ocean between London and south Florida 2 more times before finally settling in Ft Lauderdale.
The last 24 year episode has firmly established us in our South Florida gallery where we've honed our skills in restoration and specialized upholstery. We enjoy our many great customers who've become good friends. It's a passion we have for what we do!
Articles on the shop have been published in London's Time out magazine, The Financial Times 'How to Spend it", The evening Standard London newspaper, The Sun Sentinel Florida, New Times, Florida, City and Shore magazine Ft Lauderdale, 'Home' and..'.Tropic' Magazine, Ft Lauderdale.

Our large items ship via a furniture freight company which means blanket wrapped, in a truck, and a couple of guys. This service can take between 14 & 30 days depending on your US location. International shipments are possible. All other items that can fit in a box go FEDEX ground. We take a lot of care packing items to ensure their safe arrival.
